A private, single-user tool for reading its owner's own saved-video data.
The Roses Playlist Reader is a personal automation tool, operated by The Roses (theroses.io). It is used by exactly one person — its owner — to read their own account data through the YouTube Data API v3: the channel's playlists, the videos inside those playlists, subscriptions, and channel statistics.
The tool runs locally on the owner's own computer. Its purpose is to answer the owner's questions about their own saved videos (for example: listing playlists, finding which playlist a video belongs to, or summarizing a playlist's contents).
The owner authorizes the tool with their own Google Account using Google's standard
OAuth 2.0 consent flow, requesting read-only access
(https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly). Access can be revoked at
any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
No one else. There is no sign-up, no account creation, and no multi-user access. The tool is not offered as a service, is not distributed, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or YouTube. It handles no data belonging to anyone other than its single owner.
